We all go on trips, but travelling with friends is too much fun and full of enjoyment.

Taking a trip with your group can be vibrant, happy, full of laughter and fun. In our busy lives, these trips whether it’s a weekend getaway or a month long vacation can be very therapeutic. So here is the list of Top 10 Places in India where you must go at least once with your friends.

Goa

Goa is known for its Night life, clubs, parties and everything fun. This is such a place where you can go crazy with your favourite bottle of alcohol/beer and dance madly without being judged. Spend your day basking in the sun, the evening in spending your money in flea markets, hire scooters with your gang and let your hair fly.

9. Coorg, Karnataka

 

Coorg

Located in Karnataka, Coorg is called The Scotland of India. The sacred groves, the smell of coffee beans as it’s known for its fine coffee plantation, the lush green forests and mighty hills. Away from the chaotic metro cities, Coorg is a perfect place to chill with your friends. Abbey Falls, Talakaveri, Honnamana Kere Lake are one of the main attractions of Coorg.

Best time to visit : All Year Long.

8. Gangtok, Sikkim

Gangtok is located in the Eastern Himalayan range at an elevation of 1650 m(5410 ft). Humble people, Cleanliness, dresses, food and the music are some aspects that makes touring around Gangtok quite memorable. The stunning view of snow-capped Mt Kanchenjunga is eye catching. There are also many beautiful monasteries and lakes which you must visit. Nathula Pass, the sight of international border of India and China, restrained by huge gates, barbed wires and military bunkers behind them seems like heaven.

7. Sonamarg, Jammu and Kashmir

Sonamarg means “Meadow of Gold” The Sindh River flows through the valley. It is situated at an altitude of 2730 m. It feels like you are close to heaven with snow capped mountains set against a spectacular blue sky. Thajiwas Glacier is the main attraction in Sonamarg. You can hire ponies to go there. Whitewater Rafting, Trout Fishing, Trekking,Camping and Skiing are some fun activities which you can enjoy with your gang

6. Rishikesh, Uttarakhand

On one side you can experience age-old yoga, where you can learn the art of meditation and on the other side there are so many mind blowing activities like River Rafting, Camping, Bungee Jumping and many more. 5. Chadar Trek, Ladakh

Meghalaya is one of the most visited destinations of northeast where the summer welcomes you with spring festivals , the monsoon with it’s intense greenery and the winters with it’s blanket of fog and low temperatures. It has many places to explore with your friends like the Nartiang Monoliths, the splendid Krnag Suri Waterfalls, the double-decker living root bridges and the Krem Puri caves or you can also enjoy Hot-Air Ballooning through the countryside at Jowai. A trip to Meghalaya will surely leave you visually astounded and mentally relaxed.

3. Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

You and your gang can lend a couple of bikes to head to one of the most amazing destinations in the country. Along with beautiful landscapes, sheer cliffs, long empty roads and gorgeous lake and you can go all spiritual at the Spituk Gompa Monastery, do river rafting at Zanskar and also enjoy the local food there.

  • An eight-time MLA, Yediyurappa became the Chief Minister for the first time in 2007 but had to resign after a week when JD(S) refused to support his government. A year later he was elected Chief Minister after leading the BJP to victory in the 2008 assembly elections. However, he had to resign after he was indicted in a corruption case in 2011. He had also formed his own party, Karnataka Janata Paksha, after he fell out with the BJP leadership. In 2014, he merged his party with the BJP and went on to win the parliamentary elections from the Shimoga constituency. He was later acquitted in 2016.  He was sworn in again in 2018 as the Chief Minister of the State but resigned two days later as he could not muster enough support to continue in his post. A year later, he was back as the Chief Minister after the earlier Chief Minister, H D Kumaraswamy lost the majority in the assembly. In the December by-elections, the BJP won 12 out of 15 seats and managed to get the full majority of 117 seats.

  • The Centre on Monday dismissed reports of illegal surveillance through the Pegasus software. A huge row has erupted after media outlets reported that the phone numbers of Indian ministers, journalists, activists and others were listed on a leaked database of potential targets of cyber surveillance.  “There is no substance whatsoever behind this sensationalism,” Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw said during the Lok Sabha session.  The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will convene at till 11 am on Tuesday. They were both adjourned amid uproar by Opposition MPs.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the newly inducted Union ministers to the Lok Sabha as he addressed the Lower House of Parliament. On July 7, as many as 43 leaders were inducted into the Cabinet, taking the number of members in the Union Council of Ministers to 78.  The Monsoon Session of Parliament began on Monday with proceedings in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha starting at 11 am.
